Summary

Global travel advances, and so does the demand for new, innovative, high quality travel insurance policies. With the increasing infrastructure and growing disposable income, travelling both domestically and internationally has become affordable and convenient. It’s a major part of one’s business, academic and personal life. In order to reduce the risks associated with travelling such as trip cancellation due to medical emergency, loss of luggage, hijacks and loss of travel documents, more and more consumers are preferring to buy a travel insurance plan. Nevertheless, lack of awareness and low penetration of travel insurance policies as well as dynamically changing environment are bringing a lot of challenges to the Travel Insurance and Travel Assistance Industry.

Uniglobal’s 6th Annual Travel Insurance Forum will gather together top industry players of international insurance and assistance companies in order to share the best practice strategies in pricing, product innovation, risk mitigation, claims and fraud detention, as well as cover innovative trends and emerging disruption of global travel insurance industry.
