4th Annual Compensation and Benefits Forum

23-24 May 2019

Vienna, Austria

Summary

A good Human Resource Department owns the overall talent management processes focusing on the company’s greatest resource – its employees. Without good employees, even the best business plan and ideas will fail. Companies need to attract, retain, energize and engage their talents to meet the set objectives. When companies attract and retain the best employees, where exactly does an employee compensation and benefits package stand? According to Common Bond statistics (2018), 75 percent  of HR executives think their benefits offerings are innovative, but 50 percent of workers disagree seeing them as standard once in workplaces; In addition, 29 percent of employees say that benefits are “moderately important” and 22 percent that “very important”. Moreover, according to Aon Pulse research (2018), 44 percent of employees would prefer salary increase instead of additional benefits at work. What is important for your employees? What are the best strategies to empower human responses and improve organizational culture to achieve the desired result?
