Summary:
The 9th Annual Banking Innovation Forum took place on 6-7 April 2017 in Budapest. Uniglobal created a good platform for effective international exchange of experience and latest innovations in the banking industry.
The first day of the Forum was chaired by the Mobile Banking Lead from Nordea, Latvia, and was devoted to such important and interesting topics as PSD2, fintech, blockchain, trends in instant payments, development of omni-channel capabilities, digital trends in credit risk management, lifestyle banking etc. The delegates enjoyed the presentations of the speakers representing banks, software solution providers and IT companies from Norway, Hungary, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, United Kingdom, Denmark and Ireland. During the lunch-time the forum participants had a great opportunity to interact with the market leaders in a relaxing atmosphere which was later followed by a panel discussion devoted to the very urgent issues that the banking industry is facing today.
The second day of the event was chaired by the Chief Digital Officer from Sparebank 1, Norway. The audience had a chance to know more about banking as a service, chat banking, mobile banking solutions for individuals and corporates, and branches of the future etc. Banking innovations were discussed by the speakers from the banks of France, Austria, Serbia, Norway and Poland, along with a software company from the Czech Republic. The day was closed with the a panel discussion on the future prospects of the banking industry.
The event received very positive feedback and was regarded as highly informative, interactive and professionally-organised.
