Summary:
7th Annual Central Asian & Caucasus Microfinance Forum was held in Tbilisi, on 26th and 27th of October 2017. This conference was a highly successful event, and an excellent networking platform where senior-level experts in microfinance field had a chance to interact and share experiences and strategies.
The program covered a wide range of topics such as: funding policy and social responsibility; performance of MFIs; managing local currency risk in a volatile environment; Fintech for financial inclusion and answering to questions such as what MFIs need to do to make their organisation more attractive for new investors; what are the growth opportunities despite stagnation etc.
We would like to address special thanks to all the speakers and partners, who did a great job and prepared excellent presentations with solid verbal support and a special thanks to our chairwoman Rusudan Kharabadze for her input and professional leading the 2 days event. Uniglobal team also thanks all the participants for their involvement and hopes to see you next year!
