Summary:

On 27th and 28th of October 2016, Uniglobal held “6th Annual Central Asian & Caucasus Microfinance Forum”, that took place in Bishkek. The forum was led by an excellent Chairwoman, Debbie Watkins, who was conducting the conference by creating active debates and participation to facilitate excellent learning environment.

On the first day we explored microfinance market overview and challenges in Central Asia & Caucasus, how to create favorable conditions for investment and how to find new sources in the region and lastly discussing how to increase operational efficiency in MFIs. Moreover, we had a very interesting networking coffee breaks and luncheons, where the participants were actively involved in exchanging experiences.

On the second day, we explored how to improve client-centered strategies for microfinance in the efficient workshop conducted by Fern Software and we completed the day with the interactive lunch session and very interesting presentation about Green Microfinance.
We are looking forward seeing you next year!
